Anyway, I still think it's a very pretty cover! I soo cannot wait until this book comes out! Since The Elite was on Netgalley, I'm hoping that the final book will too. I will scream if that happens.
Let the rebellion begin, tributes! Natalie Dormer has been cast as Cressida in Mockingjay Part 1 & 2, the final book in The Hunger Games Trilogy. Cressida is a former Capitol citizen who joins the rebellion and is by Katniss's side, filming her for Plutarch. Cressida has a shaved head, so I'm curious to see if the actress with chop it all off. She also stars in 'Game of Thrones' as the character Margaery Tyrell.
A Vampire Academy trailer was released not too long ago as well. There are six books in the series; the author is Richelle Mead. As having read the books, I'm still not sure what to think of their protrayal, but I guess I'll have to read them again (and naturally, write a review). You can watch the trailer here:
A thirteen second teaser was released for Divergent by Veronica Roth on August 22nd, and on August 25th, there is supposed to be 'something big' coming for the fans. I'm assuming it is the full trailer. Once the trailer or whatever-it-is is released, I will edit this post and add it on.

Speaking of Shailene Woodley, John Green, the author of The Fault in Our Stars, recently had an interview with People magazine and disclosed information about what he thought about the auditions for the roles of Augustus (Ansel Elgort) and Hazel (Shailene Woodley). He gave advice for beginner writers, books that influence him to write, and which scene from TFiOS will be his favorite to see on-screen. Here is the entire transcript of his live chat. John Green is heading out to Pittsburgh for the first day of filming, which is August 26th. Green is also going to have a cameo in the movie. Shaliene Woodley has chopped her hair off for the role of Hazel as well.
I've come across quite a few people who have yet to see the full-length trailer for Catching Fire, the sequel to The Hunger Games, so here it is. A Victor Banner was released for promotion for the November release, which is posted below the trailer.
In case you haven't heard, Ben Affleck has been cast as Batman for the new 'Man of Steel' sequel.
The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones was released on Wednesday, but I have yet to see it (don't panic, I've made plans to see it this Saturday). I think once that happens, I'll do a duo review for Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters and City of Bones. The sequel is set to start filming soon.

Oh man, what a babe. This cover was released today, July 31, in case you missed it. This is the third book in The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer.
I rather like the color scheme for this. I feel like the red (a constant theme through the three covers) is a nice touch to the long hair, which is supposed to be Repunzel. I feel like the blue will be very pretty on bookshelves.
I'm glad that they haven't had a cover change for these books yet. With more than just these three books planned for the series, I can see a cover change coming in the future, although I really, really like these covers. This cover makes me already excited for Cress.
As most of you may have heard by now, there has been a new magazine cover release for Divergent by Veronica Roth. This issue comes out Friday, June 21.
Also, there have been several new stills for the same movie have been released.
Phew! That was a lot. And, if you thought that was it, you're wrong. Veronica Roth recently stated that four (I see what you did there, Veronica Roth...) new short stories being released from Four's Point of View.
In addition to the Divergent news, there has been more news from the book community. Veronica Rossi has released the cover to the final book in her trilogy, Under the Never Sky, Into the Still Blue. The first three chapters have been released.
This is the final book in the Gallagher Girls series, which if you haven't had a chance to read yet, you should. At first, they are fun and light reads which eventually become very dark and make me want to throw it against the wall make me appreciate her unique ability to create such suspense and surprise.
Do I spy . . . graduation approaching? AHH. AHH.
Seriously, if you haven't read this, go pick it up. It's really a great series that all of my friends have enjoyed as well as myself.

Ansel Elgort, pictured to the right, has been reportedly cast in The Fault in Our Stars, a movie adaptation based on the acclaimed YA contemporary novel by John Green. He is set to play the male lead Augustus Waters.
We caught up with some of our local residents of Tumblr to see how they felt about this.

In case you weren't aware, Elgort is also partaking in Divergent, another Young Adult book to movie adaptation. Not only is he in two YA films, but he is playing opposite Shailene Woodley in both, one playing her sibling, the other playing her romantic love interest.
Many fangirls are very conflicted about this controversial topic. If you happen to come across a fangirl who is losing her mind, you can help her in three easy steps.
1) Hand her chocolate, because chocolate doesn't ask silly questions. Chocolate listens.
2) Let her vent about the problem. Even when she blubbers and makes a noise similar to asdfghjkl, do not question it. Nod and smile.
3) Tell her the upside to the situation. Using The Fault in Our Stars as an example, you can easily tell your upset fangirl this: Well, at least they're almost the same age. Almost.
Note: When comforting a fangirl, on any circumstance, do not mention soiled adaptions, especially of the P to the J to the O range. (What? That's not Percy Jackson at all.) This will only sink her hopes.
Hopefully, the conflicts will settle themselves with time.

A new photo was released last night, one to which I squealed when I saw! This photo was released to Entertainment Weekly on the movie entitled Divergent, based on the best-selling book by Veronica Roth.
This photo is of Shailene Woodley, who is playing Beatrice (Tris) Prior. Fans like myself are excited to see this as it is a prominent scene in the introduction of Tris' life in Dauntless.

Friends, Romans, Countrymen, lend me your ears for the first edition of Cover Talk. Today I will be discussing the (okay, amazing) cover of The Fall of Five by Pittacus Lore. If you aren't aware, this is the fifth book in the Lorien Legacies Series, one that I loooove (mind the grammar).
What makes this series so good, in my opinion? It's not the intricate plotline or the relateable characters that make me adore it- it's the fact that it's readable. With this series, I can sit down and eat it up in a day or two and feel like I haven't missed a thing. Not many books suck me in and make me actually want to stay in their lives.
Back to the cover. Can we just take, I don't know, take a moment to appreciate the glory that has manifested in this? This beautiful creation?
Yes, why yes we can.
The book is going to be released in late August- just in time for school to start. So, if you happen to see me hanging upside down from a swing reading this, you'll know that I'm thoroughly satisfied. (I would also recommend calling up a doctor of some sorts, because let's get real: I would literally die from reading that book, and not just because of the overload of feels.)
